The Portuguese farm laborers' strike has led to a. sympathetic strike of all trades in the Evora district, and a general strike in Lisbon The inauguration of a general strike in Lisbon in sympathy with the agricultural strikers in the Evora district has been speedily accompanied by disorders. The strikers stormed the tram sheds, and prevented the military from sending out cars. The Government, fearing the strike will spread, has confined all the troops to the barracks.
