ANNUAL PICNIC.

The annual picnic of the West Coastcry Association, held at Day's Buy, Wellington, on Wednesday, February 14, was unfortunately marred by rainy weather as a success from tho point of view of attendance and financial returns, but otherwise tho occasion furnished the opportunity of a pleasant reunion of West Coasters, and also provided much to interest and amuse. A programme of diversified events — from a baby show to a wrestling match —was carried out with great zest and vim. the tug-of-war, West Coasters v. tho World (won by the former), proving especially exciting.
