LIFE INFLUENCES.

Dear Editor, —I see that an attempt lias been made to answer my question ix> the children. In reference to heredity will, that shows that we are dependent on our progenitors. In regard to environment, we are dependent on our surroundings and the company we keep. In regard to the known and the unknown, we are dependent on those who taught us the known, or else we never could have drawn a similarity with the unknown. In regard to selecting books that are right and good, we must determine thorn ourselves or be dependent on someone else who has examined them. As far as I can see we are all dependent on each other, and also to those w3io have been before us for our advancement of thought.—Yours, Seddonville. JOHN MACK lE.
