WESTPORT CONFIDENCE.
At a special meeting of the Wcstport .Wharf Laborers' Union., held on Nov. 34 (after a most interestsag address delivered. by Comrade Paddy Webb on "Industrial Unionism s ') it was proposed and carried, unanimously: "That we, as a, Unioiij are quite satisfied that 'The Maoriland Worker' is oiit in the cause ©f labor every time, and in "our opinion the policy of the paper is right; we are furthermore of the opinion that it should be regularly taken and read fey every worker in the Dominion/ .Representatives from our Union nu-t in conference with representatives from the various shipping companies to try and come to a settlement re the claims put forward by this Union. We also fta.cH Comrade Webb along with but rk we could not arrive at anything definite we have placed the whole matter" in the hands of the Federation.
