Appeal for a Class-Conscious Vote.

iWe append hereto a list of Socialist; candidates who are standing for Parliament as pledged representatives of the platform of the Federation of Labor and the Socialist Party of New Zealand. These men are triedj trusted and true, and we can confidently appeal to all Socialists and industrial unionists and anti-militarists, to give them their loyal support, not only for the sake of the principles for which they stand, but on personal grounds as well. We believe them to be honest, sincere men, of good character and repute, worthy of support of all electors from every point of view. The election of 1911 is noteworthy is the first in which nine Socialists took the field as such, and if a third of that number be returned, as we fully believe there 'will, the result cannot fail to be one of lasting good for the Cause we love. To our comrades of Auckland, Ohinemuri, Wellington, Christchurch, Timaru, Duncdin and Grey we appeal to leave no stone unturned to secure the largest possible vote for our boys. As a propaganda and ediicational fight the election of 1911 surpasses anything of he kind in our history. Socialism and industrial unionism stands to gain whatever be the result of the battle. Comrades, we leave it with you to do your duty.

A- Chance to Make History.
