THE ISOLATION OF LABOR.

Beware of Liberalism.

One of the most striking facts m connection with the Labor movement, both in Australia and elsewhere, is the failure of any attempt to carry its policy into effect when working in conjunction with other political parties, and the marked success that has iol-loAved-its isolation. In the Federal Parliament, in the States, and in England the experiment has been tried of working in conjunction with so-called •♦'Liberals,", of varying .shades, and everywhere it has been found that after a time the Labor party has become merely an adjunct of the party with •which they had allied themselves.
