Why is a river like a watch?— Ban cause it does not run long without winding. When is money damp?— When it Ii due in the morning and missed aX night. When may two people be said to b« half-w.itted?— When they have ate understanding between them. Why is "c" the most unfortunate of letters? —Because it's never in cash, always in debt and never out of daager.
Why is a pretty girl like a first-class mirror? —Because she's a good-lookiojf lass.
