A Secretarial Appeal

Socialism can only bo ushered in by the Socialists',, just as the perfect boot can be manufactured only by the trained bootmaker—just as any other scientific work to be done best by those who have given time, study and experiment to it. So it is with Socialism. The Socialsts having given their time to the study of their science, (which also includes a study of human, nature) know the best way to bring Socialism about. Knowing- this, your national executive expects that the campaign just commenced by E. R, Hartley will receive yd tir best financial and moral assistance. Your executive, understanding, as you also understand, that the way to bring Socialism about is to. spread the knowledge of its principle's —when that has been done efficiently Socialism will be ushered in, the great change will take place—wants Hartley's campaign made wondrously successful. Can we put the amount of work in to insure'that Great Change taking place within, ten years? Your executive says "Yes"."' If. the Socialists of New Zealand are prepared to find the money, the .educational and organising work can be done, and the. party can venture to take on the contract of finishing the work within ten years. _ ■ ; We want money- for the organising fund. E. R. Hartley must be financially . supported. E. R. Hartley mugt be morally supported. The Socialists arc the people who must do it. The Socialists of N.Z. have a chance second to none, as in. no country in. the world are the obstacles to Socialism so few. What do you say, comrades? How much is your donation?
