From the consular reports from Spain comes the infoimation that the laAvs iioav in force for tho prevention of industrial accidents haA-e had a very marked effect on the reduction of casualties throughout tho country. While the number of accidents has doubled in number from 1904 to 1909, inclusive, yet the deaths resulting therefrom have decreased from 236 in 1904 to 210 in 1509.
