'"According to a statement by the Treasury, the total amount of ; gold and silver Obtained from the GAvyn or GAVAmfyndd and St. David's mines in Wales, since 1888, was 102,0380z., valued at £362,000. The silver represented only a small proportion. The royalties to the CroAvn in that period amounted to £12,383.
