CO-OPERATION—ACCIDENTS

At a. general meeting of the Waihi Miners' Union, held on September 16, tho following motion was carried, ivith but five dissentients: "That this meeting of the Waihi Miners' Union enters its most emphatic protest against the 'Compulsory Military Training Act of the Ward Administration, believing that militarism in any shape or form is against the best interests of our class —the working-class."
