ANOTHER RELIGIOUS ABORIGINAL MISSION FIASCO.
The Federal Minister has received a report from Captain Barclay concerning the condition of the aboriginals at the Lutheran Aboriginal Mission at Hermansburg, Northern Territory, in which it is stated that the condition of the aboriginals is deplorable, filth and disease being rampant. This, is but another instance of the. utter incapability of religious bodies in dealing with aboriginals, and of the need for strictly secular Government administration of all such stations. —Maryborough (Q.)
