"THE MAORILAND WORKER.
. Sir,—Seeing there are seven thousand members in our Federation and with our "right man in the right place as organiser' to the Federation,, in the person of Bob Semple, what is there to prevent us making '"The Maoriland Worker" a paper that will give us the general news of the world in one hand and in the other (as as clone at present) espouse the cause of Labor. It can be • done if these 7000 members agree to voluntarily subscribe one pound each over a reasonable area of time, to meet all possible contingencies. When this has been done, we will.find."The Maoriland Worker" to be out of "swaddling clothes and into knickerbockers.'' It * requires money to soundly establish a paper on the lines as above indicated. I would like to hear an expression of opinion from abler pens than mine on this subject, and what view our right man in the right place as organiser to the Federation in the person of Bob Semple takes. I think £7000 will make a great help to the second step.— I am, etc., Waiuta R. S. COOPER.
