KIRIPAKA.
On August 25th, P. C. Webb paid his first visit to Kiripaka ,and addressed a goodly gathering of workers in the school room. Paddy traced the work of the. Federation since its inception, and proved to the satisfaction of all that the only hope of the worker was Industrial Unionism. At the conclusion of his address the speaker touched on the question of compulsory military training and impressed the fact on all t>resent that they needed to bo up and doing and endeavour to have the Act repealed. P.C.W. answered ve-ry satisfactorily a mynber of questions relating to Socialism, etc., that were asked by members present. The genial "Paddy" received a hearty vote of thanks' fo>r his able and interesting address, and was further asked to carry to the Executive Federation of Labor Kiripaka's approval and confidence in the work done by that organisation. Previous to the meeting dissolving, three hearty cheers were accorded "The Maorila.nd and the wish expressed that "The Worker" would meet with every success in the great fight for the emancipation of tho working-clas'Ses.—EFLOß.
