I.W.W.
Dear Comrade, —I notice an extract in this week's "Worker" from a letter sent you by H. J. Hawkins, referring to a' "crowd of anarchists" in Christchurch. I do not know if you know the history of the I.W.W. and the incidents that happened at the fourth convention in 1908; but if you want any vindication of our. claim to unofficially represent the I.W.W. in N.Z. 1 can supply you with all the particulars. I am in possession of information to show that the I.W.W. (Vincent St. John, general sec. and treats.) is
the real 1.W.W., and that the S.L.P. and its supporters left the organisa* bion in 1908 and started an imitaticn one with same name. Just let mc know if you are interested, and I will send you full particulars.—Yours in revolt, SYD. KINGSFORD, Literature Secretary, Christchurch I.W.W. Union.
P.S. —This letter is quite unofficial. (No space to enter into this matter. —Ed.)'
