Laraey (general secretara-),,and thei folloAving delegates: Canterbury, 'J.: Puiwis, C. Johnston, W. Boon :* Otago, W. Johnstone, J. Stewart-; Wellington.J. Nicholson, J. Cooper, A. McLeod; ; Marlborough, J. IWnsend;.Gisborne,: J. Morgan (Maoris). A A-ote.of condolence with Mrs. T. E. : Taylor on the death of her husband, and of appreciation for his ..services to the democracy of New Zealand, was 1 passed. " ; A vote of condolence -was also pass--ed to the relatives of Messrs. W. and E. Coe, who were .lest in the wreck of the "Yongola." The general secretary then presented: the balance-sheet of the -Association to* April 30, 1911, and read his report.— These were discussed and adopted. It Avas agreed that conference hours' be 9 to 12.30 and 2 to 5 p.m. Professor Mills addressed the conference for a short time on the general adA'antages of organisation and other matters, and was - accorded a hearty A-ote of thanks.
