Of High-class Character. We have received a copy of the now weekly issue of the " Maoriland Worker," published in Wellington, New Zealand, by the Labour Federation, and edited by R. S. Ross, a Queenslander. The paper is beautifully printed and consists of a 12-page demy folio insert with red cover, making 16 pages in all. The initial number is of a high-class character from a literary point of view, and from what we know of its editor, Bob Ross, who has bad a varied literary experience, first in Brisbane on the " Sportsman," then as editor of the Broken Bill " Truth," and later as editor of tho Melbourne " Socialist," future numbers should maintain this high standard. A special article is ono by " Dogmatist," a noted Australian Socialist -writer, entitled, " The Social Rovolution," and it is well worth reading. The " Worker " is out to educate the workers on tho Social and Economic
questions of the day, and there is plenty of room for it in the land of the Moa. We wish it every success.—" Alert," Maryborough, Q.
