THEOSOPHY, VEGETARIANISM, AND 'SOCIALISM.
Dear Editor, —I am still cogitating on the speaker avlio at the Socialistic meeting called mc an anti-S. because I am a Vegetarian and Theosophist. Vegetarians are not anti-S's, and I am certain until wo all eat natural foods (leaving carnivorous cannibalistic habits behind) we or you will never have the highest views of any thing and Socialism will not succeed. Theosophy wants universal .brotherhood. What is that but Socialism. U-B. would cover all your views—all will be equal and all alike. I have jusfc started a fund with a fiver ("TSLZ. Times" and "Dominion") to try antrelieve London's starving poor. Eustace Miles, the great athlete and vegetarian, feeds 100 daily at his Free Kitchen, and I want to help him to help them. Will you not start a tancl too? I will give a free novel picture show in Wellington for the cause. J. FRED ELTON, (On tour, Thunderbolt Picture Co. p.S. We play North Island towns, and any good I can do your cause will be done, clearly proving, again, that I am anti nothing to do good to humanity.
