A representative of this journal paid a visit to the "Lister" Shearing Department, in Wellington, and was astounded at the rapid progress this shearing machine has made in this colony. Although it is only on the market for about one year, the "Lister" machines have been fitted in 126 sheds, and orders for further plants for 1911 are considerably in excess of the previous year's orders to date. The agents of the "Lister" have apparently arrived at the correct starting point, viz., in providing a shearing machine to please owner and shearer alike, and. having every confidence in the plant they supply, are prepared to guarantee satisfaction, as shearers from all parts of Australia are unanimous in their opinion that there is no better machine at present on the market than the "Lister," and that the combs and cutters especially are excellent in every way, and beautifully finished.
