Laracy, for and on behalf of the New Zealand Shearers' Union, and printed by "The Lyttelton Times" Company, Limited, Christchurch, New Zealand. PERMANENT PUBLICATION. As explained in last month's supplement, the Shearers' Union is now being 1 supported in the issue of "THE MAORILAND WORKER " by tli.e New Zealand Federation of Labour until February next. After that the paper will, in the event of the ballot of shearers being- in favour of joining the New Zealand Federation of T_jabour t be published by that Federation, of which the Shearers' Union will have become a part. SUBSCRIPTIONS. Subscriptions are, therefore, requested for the January and February issues only at the present time; but donations towards Printing Plant Fund will be gladly received. Send all subscriptions and donations to The Editor. "The Maoriland Worker," P.O. Box 360, Christchurch. Articles, News, etc.: Workers all over New Zealand are requested to send in signed articles for publication. Union Secretaries are particularly requested to send along reports of important meetings, etc. NOTE. Copies of "The Maoriland Worker can be obtained from local booksellers, the various Trades' Halls throughout the Dominion, or from Box 360, Christchurch. QUACK MEDICINES. No Quack Medicine advertisements of any kind will be inserted in "THE MAORILAND WORKER," and articles will be published from time to time exposing various popular nostrums which are known to be fraudulent or harmful. In order that the policy of the paper in this respect may be widely known, 2000 copies of this issue are being posted free to medical men and others interested in protecting the public in this direction. Donations are asked for from the recipients of these copies for the purpose of forming a Quack Medicine Fighting Fund. IMPORTANT NOTICE. Several lists of subscribers' names have been, sent to the Editor with no proper addresses given. In other cases, papers have been returned although addressed as instructed. Will readers please notify any subscribers who have not received papers that the Editor will be pleased to forward copies on receipt of post card giving name and address. Copies of papers can also be obtained from the local Trades Halls, or Union Secretaries in various centres, free of cost by any subscribers who have failed to receive their papers.
