Waiting for the coming day, Quite content to do the bragging, While the "wrong man gets his way. Up, ye children of the morning! Put your shoulder to the wheel, While the better time is dawning Keep your ship from touching keel. Steer her well from out the rocks, For the harbour's just in sight; There's a nook that seems to mock, Steer your barque now to the right. Quickly now your ship be turning, There is danger going slow ; Keep your lower light aburning, Flashing wide about the bow.
