RIFLE CLUB NEWS
On Saturday last the Club fired the usual match on the 500 and 600 yards range. Members of the Ettrick Club also took part in the shoot. The weather was poor for shooting, a strong wind and a changing light making conditions difficult. The first four names are those of prize winners.

At the 600 yds range only five shots and two optional sighters were fired. The prizes for the above shoot were elbow pads and a rifle shots register. The shoot scheduled for Saturday, December 3, will be for the prizes donated by Messrs Jeffery and Uren. BEWARE THE LADY Once upon a time man used to get out of the way of women drivers through a sense of chivalry. Now it’s sheer panic.
