AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
1 A meeting of the Tuapeka Agricultural Society was held m the Druids Hall on Saturday night, October 29. There was a good attendance of members and the programme for the annual show was fully discussed. 1 The appointment of Mr F. F. Farra as secretary was approved by the meeting. 1 It is expected that a team ot jumpers from Dunedin will be brought to Lawrence for this year’s show and a new feature will be several events for mounted troopers, there will also be wrestling on horseback so that patrons will be* well catered for on Boxing Day The meeting was adjourned until next Saturday night.
