VALUE OF NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING.

STRESSED BY COMPANY DIRECTOR. The value of newspaper advertising was stressed by Mr T. B. Cavaghan, a director of the Ford Motor Company of New Zealand, Limited,, when delegates who are attending the halfyearly conference of the New Zealand Newspaper Proprietors’ Association were entertained at the company’s works at Lower Hutt.

“We arc great believers in newspaper advertising,” said Mr Cavaghan, “and 85 per cent, of our advertising ■'goes to the newspapers. The remaining I 15 per cent, only is devoted to other ■ advertising mediums. t think that i gives a good indication of what we feel I about 'the newspapers.”

Mr Cavaghan added that according to reports received from the company s advertising agent, the newspapers had given a great deal of help in carrying the story of the Ford motor car to the public. . iT I M
