BEAUTY TREATMENT.
REGAINING LOST VIGOUR. When your husband goes out for an evening with his boy friends, take the golden opportunity of giving yourself a thorough beauty treatment. Dion't you find that the oime you used to devote to your appearance has dwindled almost to nothing now that your life is so full of the new interests and tasks that come with marriage and a home!
' These will leave their mark if you are not careful, so encourage your husband to go out? once a week, and make "a real evening of it. ' Begin early. Wash your brush and comb, remove makeup and nail varnish, file your nails and trim eyebrows if necessary. Wash and set your hair before or after your bath, whichever you prefer. Apply skin food lavishly to face and neck, rubbing it in gently with an upward movement. Put two tablespoons of olive oil in the bath, lie in it and have a good soak. This will prepare your hands and feet for manicure and pedicure, which you can attend to while sitting in front of the fire drying your hair.
When drying your toes and fingers, push the skin back with a towel, then rub in cuticle cream, and with an orange stick go round the cuticles gently, and cut off all the bits of loose skin. Massage hands with cold cream, smoothing the fingers downwards as if you were putting on a pair of gloves. Dust your feet with talcum powder. Polish nails with a buffer and it is as as well to postpone revarnishing them
