STATEMENT FOR AUGUST, 1938. Estates of a value of £585,192 I were reported and accepted for I administration by tbe Public Trustee during tbe month of August, 1938. The total value of _ the estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on the 31st March, 1938, was £60,815,306, and the new business for the [live months ended 31st. August, 1938, was £2,762,827. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 255 for the month. : t During the mputh 420 new wills i appointing the " Public. Trustee I executor were prepared on behalf lof testators and lodged for safe icustody, and 386 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 91,455.
