DUNEDIN CRIMINAL SESSIONS, SUPREME COURT.
Monday April 11, (Before Mr Justice Gillies, and a Jury.) James Mack pleaded guilty to theft of a watch and other valuables at Waitaki on lGth February and was sentenced to two years' imprisonment with hard labor. Henry Potter for theft of jewellery at Dnuedin pleaded guilty and received a similar sentence. Joseph Henry Pag;et was charged with stealing 21 £1 notes from a registered letter. He pleaded not guilty and was defended by Mr Denniston. A number of witnesses having been examined, prisoner was found guilty and received sentence of three years' penal servitude. Dechlin Mulcahy ch with £.3 10s at Nganara was fuuu-J not guilty and discharged. Tuesday April 12. Joieph Gard, accused of stealing a lamb from Hon. M. Holmes', was defended by U_. C-4. -L IP 1 'I,
