The Roxburgh Athenaeum, we are glad to find, in about to take a fresh departure, and iu the proper direction. At tbe meeting on Monday evening a committee, who had previously intimated their willingness to act if elected, was appointed, and last evening they arranged an excellent programme for an entertainment in aid of the funds of the Institution. It is to take plaee on the evening of Monday next, beinpJGaster Monday, and we hope to see a bumper house on that occasion. Price, of §4* miuion 2s.
