Car in River After 80-foot Plunge

SEARCH FOR TWO WOMEN PASSENGERS (Per Press Association.) WESTPORT, March 19. A car which left here on Tuesday morning for Nelson, occupied by Sister Sergeant, Kawatiri Hospital staff, Westport, and Mrs. C. A. Herd, Westport, was found in the Buller River this morning after having fallen down an 80-foot bank from the Buller Gorge Road at Windy Point, 10 miles from here. The car was completely wrecked. The occupants apparently were thrown in the river and as there is a big fresh in the river, it may have washed tho bodies any distance. A search party was out to-day without result. The

search continues to-morrow.
