Kiwitea Rabbit Board

At a special meeting of the Kiwitea Rabbit Board held this month a petition was received from ratepayers in the northern area requesting that the area be divided into blocks to be worked by rabbiters. After a lenglhly discussion it was resolved on the motion of the chairman (Mr. J. W. Batclielar), seconded by Mr. A. Lawson, that it be a recommendation to the incoming board that steps be taken on the lines suggested by the petitioners. In connection with oustanding rates it was agreed to institute legal proceedings against defaulting
