Mavor, o±' Airedale, tlie iirsfc in Oamaru lor -10 years, was recognised by tlie Oamaru Borough Council, which at a meeting acknowledged the happy event with a gift of 10s for “the three little boys.” To a suggestion that a lvaritanc nurse be provided to take charge of the triplets for twelve months, the Minister of Health has replied that the circumstances are such as not to warrant the appointment of a Karitane nurse. The Minister mentioned, however, that the parents, if they so desired, could apply to the Department of Internal Affairs for the King’s Bounty, which, he said, Would be wottli £o.
