Palmerstonian at New Delhi Air Headquarters

Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, March 13. New Zealaadcrs serving in India with the R.A.F. now have FlightLieutenant T. Twigge, of Palmerston North, as liaison officer at Air Headquarters in New Delhi. FlightLieut. Twigge was previously attached to the R.N.Z.A.F. Headquarters in London. He said: •’Several hundred New Zealanders including ground staff are serving in India. Some of them operated over Malaya, Java and Burma before they wont to India and others made many sorties over Europe. I have thusfar seen few of these men and hope soon to visit every squadron containing New Zealanders.’’ Flight.-Lieut. Twigge is giving attention to promo tion, pay and welfare questions, also the distribution of New Zealand news.
