Goebbels Deserts Guests And Bolts for Shelter

Received Monday, 11.60 p.m. NEW YORK, March 13. Goebbels escaped death during an R.A.P. attack on Berlin on February 16 by abandoning bis guests in an hotel at the first sound of the air raid alarm, says a C.B.S. broadcast from Madrid. The hotel was wrecked by a direct hit with a blockbuster a few minutes after Goebbels’ departure, killing all in the I hotel except four men.
