Allied Guerrillas Fighting Japs in Borneo

Received Sunday, 10.40 p.m. SYDNEY, March 12. Two years after their fall Dutch, British and Aussie troops are still fighting in parts of the Netherlands East Indies. The Jap radio recently announced: “Members of the Jap local defence corps in Borneo are keeping close watch on the mining centres and shipbuilding yards against enemy guerrilla attacks.” Armed resistance is also reported to be continuing in Sumatra.
