Vichy Traitor Sentenced to Death

Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m. ALGIERS, March 11. Pierre Pucheu, a member of the Vichy Cabinet charged with treason in assisting the Germans in Prance, has been found guilty and condemned to death. Pucheu has put in an appeal to the Court oi Cassation which can order a retrial on points of law, says an Algiers correspondent. The Court has no powei to alter the verdict. It can only ordei a retrial.
