Champion of Champions Bowling

The Manawatu Bowling Centre's champion of champion fours was commenced on Munawatu Club's green on Saturday. The green was perfect and there was a large number of spectators present. First Round Manawatu (Foster, Holder, I-larrison ; Francis, skip) beat Northern (Sinclair, Duncalf, Bewley, Skogiuna, skip) 21—15. H. G. Mills, the skip of the Manawatu i lour, could not get back from a visit to : Taranaki. • Francis (No. 3) tilled the position and Harrison was placed No. 3.
