Secondary School Tennis
The secondary schools’ tennis tournament, an annual event, will be held at Linton Street courts on Saturday. The following - entries have been received:— Boys: Palmerston North, Foxton, Marist Bros., Pahiatua, Woodville. Girls: Palmerston North, Convent, Foxton, Feilding, Pahiatua, Palmerston North Technical. The competition is for the G. H. Bennett Cup to be held by the winning boys’ team, the lnnes and Oakley Cup by the winning girls’ team, the Scott Cup for the championship boy, and the McDonald Cup for the championship girl. Play will commence at 9.30 a.m.
