Armed Forces Appeal Board
A sitting of the Armed Forces Appeal Board was held in Palmerston North yesterday. Mr. T. L. Beddon presided aud associated with him were Messrs A. Grigor and W. Sutherland. 1 Adjourned sine die: W. Gray, junior mechanician, ; to perform 28 days’ territorial service, was adjourned sine die. Other decisions were: F. F. McMinn, ; R.N.Z.A.F., appeal by F. J. McMinn - against overseas service; dismissed. E. \Y. Hatch, cleaner, N Z.R., and J. R. Robertson, fireman, N.Z.R., appeals by - the Director; both appeals dismissed by request. A. D. Mackie, buttermaker, appeal by Scientific and industrial Research Department; adjourned to April sittings. Included among the appeals were a large number for extension of leave from camp.
