PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN. 7STOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Palmerston North City Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the 20th day of March, 1944, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £6OOO for the purpose of enabling the said Council to erect dwellings for its employees. That the said sum of £6OOO is to bo secured by a special rate of Onefifteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Palmerston North, for the purpose of providing the annual payment of Interest, Sinking Fund and other charges thereon. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Palmerston North City Council not. later than tho day preceding the said meeting.
