Konini Cooperative Dairy Co. Ltd. ANNUAL MEETING. Ou Monday last Mr W. D. Harris (chairman) presided at the annual meeting of the Konini Co-op. Dairy Co. Ltd. At the commencement of the meeting those present stood in silence as a mark of respect to the Company’s late secretary, Mr G. Godfrey Taylor. The chairman in his review drew attention to the difficulties that had faced the company in the past year but notwithstanding these the plant had been kept in excellent condition and with the change of circumstances was in a position to produce the butter so urgently required by the Mother Country. The two retiring directors, Messrs W. D. Harris and Henry Hirst who were returned unopposed, thanked the shareholders for the confidence placed in them. Opportunity was taken by the chairman and other speakers to congratulate Mr Hirst on completing 25 years as a director, during which pei'iod he has held the confidence of directors, suppliers and staff. The retiring auditor, Mr S. G. H. Hogg, A.P.A.N.Z. was re-elected. The Bank of N.Z. was represented by Mr M. A. Robertson who complimented the company on its successful season.
