Feilding Branch W.D.F.U.
Mrs. W. G. Booth presided at the monthly meeting of the Feilding branch of the W.D.F.U. held yesterday afternoon. Mrs. T. Donaldson was elected as a new member, while a cash donation was voted to the Makogai leper appeal. Mrs. R. H. Buchanan gave an interesting report on the recent provincial meeting at Marton. Arrangements were made for the branch’s birthday celebrations to be held on October 2. Members are reminded that meetings are now held in Whitehead’s tearooms.
