Alleged Attempt on Indian Viceroy’s Life
Received Wednesday. 9.20 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 2. The Berlin radio stated that the Viceroy of India (Lord Linlithgow) was not injured when a young Indian fired shots at him. A member of the Viceroy's bodyguard shot and killed the Indian.
