DISTILLERIES GO OVER TO INDUSTRIAL ALCOHOL Reoelved Wednesday, 12.45 a.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 1. Under the United meat rationing ssneme starting in January each person will be allowed two anu a-nau pounds weekly which is much greater nan the allowances of other be.ngerent .ountries. Britain allows slightly more nan a pound, Germany I2i ounces, the Jetheriands nine ounces and Italy four unces. A War Production Board official announced that the manufacture of alconolle beverages will cease on November I after which the distilleries will produce only industrial aicoho;. The present supplies of liquors are expected to last four or five years. Brewing will continue.
