Training Camp for W.W.S.A.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Sept. I. Before the end of this month it is anticipated that the camp now in course of construction for the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps in the Central Military District will be in full occupation. The authorities are getting the staff together for the camp, which will be in the nature of a reception and training centre for women and girls for the Army. It will possess all the amenities and facilities of a modern army camp. Accommodation is planned for 250 recruits, who will be posted to the units to which they are most suited, In which way the special capabilities of each woman will be exploited to the maximum.
