Belfast Shotting Case

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 30. Five of six members of the 1.R.A.. aged between 18 and 22 years, who were sentenced to death for the murder of a policeman in Belfast last Easter Monday, have been reprieved. Four will be imprieoned for life and one has been sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment; the sixth iias not been reprieved. Huge mass meetings have been held throughout Eire demanding a reprieve and several British members of Parliament have also urged a reprieve.
