10,000-tonner Built in 24 Days
Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 29. A message from Richmond, California. # ! yS V?J! 9nry Kaiser shipyard launched a 10,000-ton Liberty ship in 24 days after the keel was laid, establishing a new record for sreedy construction. Mr. Kaiser predicted that within a few months his yards would launch 10,000 Onners on an eighteen-day construction schedule.
