Chinese Continue Advance

CHUNGKING, Aug. 26. Continuing their victorious march in Chekiang, Chinese armies are preparing to storm Nanchang, in Kiangsi, reports the Central News Agency. The Chinese have recaptured Tungsiang, a railway centre 50 miles southeast of Nanchang. This is the 11th important point in the eastern theatre of war regained within a few weeks' fighting. The Japanese, with strong aerial support, have launched an attack in areas along the Tungpu railway, just south of the Yellow River, in Honan province. The Chinese are making a concerted attack on the walls of Chuhsien, where there is a most important airfield, states a Chinese communique. The Chinese have already captured several strategic points around Chussien. The Chinese section of the ChekiahgKiangsi railway is now 165 miles long.
