Club House for Canadian Troops

(British Official Wireless.) Received Friday, 7 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 4. The old headquarters of the London County Council iu Spring Gardens, is now being converted into a centre for recruiting and rest rooms for the Canadian troops in London. It is to be known as “The Beaver Club” and it is hoped it will be ready by the middle of February. It will, it is hoped, be a worthy successor to the famous Beaver Hut in the Strand which afforded similar opportunities to Canadians during the last war.
