Sequel to Burglaries In New Plymouth

Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 5. Following an arrest made in New Plymouth yesterday as a sequel to a scries of burglaries in the past few days, Kenneth Hugh Benuetts appeared in the Police Court to-day, when he was remanded in custody till Wednesday. Ho is charged with escaping from custody at Waikuno, and breaking and entering Avery and Sons, booksellers. The police stated that; there would be further charges against tho accused.
