Mrs. N. M. Burnett, of Fox Street, lias returned after spending Christmas and New Year at Napier. Mrs. Terry, Gladstone Street, and her two daughters, are visiting tho Centennial Exhibition. Mrs. L. J. Whittington, McLean Street, accompanied by her three daughters, is visiting the Centennial Exhibition and is staying at Oriental Bay. Mr. N. Hustwick, of tho Health Department, Wellington, is spending a holiday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Hustwick, Ormond Street, whose daughter, Miss E. Hustwick, also visited them during the holidays. Mr, and Mrs. J. Thomason, accompanied by the latter’s sister, Miss M. Pedersen, leave Woodville to-day on a caravan tour, in the course of which they will visit Wellington and the Exhibition. In our article yesterday concerning the late Mrs. Mary Barkwith’s recollections of Woodville in the early days, Mr. Joseph Motley was referred to as “tho late” Mr. Motley. Apparently this was an error, as wo have since learned that Mr. Motley is still alive and is residing in To Aroha.
